Surveys- Using Computers

Hello Readers,

While there are plenty of classrooms that are now equipped with computers, I wonder how often teachers actually take advantage of this technology. Examples of using computers in the classroom might be using power point to present your lesson, taking students to the computer lab to work through online exercises, or ...

...having students give presentations using the computer. Feel free to drop a line to explain your answer below.

Lately, I've been using the computer with technology lessons about once a week. My textbook makes many recommendations for how to do this. I started the year with power points and websites. Recently I used iPhoto to make a slide show of student projects which they took photos of. I know that anytime I bring in the computer their eyes and ears perk up! This is the digital generation and technology in the classroom is an effective way to reach today's students.
