Recommended resources - pronunciation video

Hello readers,

Teaching ESL and pronunciation go hand in hand, so undoubtedly, you've had your fill of frustrating 'listen and repeat' moments in the classroom. Teaching pron doesn't always have to be frustrating...

... unfortunately, it often is - for you, for your student(s) or both.

So what can you do to make it less stressful? Inject a bit of humor in your lessons. Check out this video below for some inspiration.

Do you think you could use this video in your classroom? I dare you!! Share your comments on how you would do that below.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

LOL...this is funny. Look at the original Pink Panther films too...the room/riim, dog/doog, etc. dialogue.

SNL (Saturday Night Live) also has a skit with a couple named Nuni and Nooni (seemingly identical pronunciation to the listener's ear) but, apparently not to the two characters--they also have trouble pronouncing common anglophonic names like Bill or John, for example.

Good stuff!
