TESOL Conferences

As you probably know, TESOL has a major conference each year. The 2012 event has already happened...

...but it is time to prepare for the 2013 convention.

You can meet fellow (or future) TESOL connections this coming spring in Dallas, Texas, USA. Be sure to save the dates of March 20-23, 2013.

Registration begins September 1, 2012 - and that date is coming right up. You can find details here - http://www.tesol.org/convention2013.

This website isn't fully set up yet, but stay tuned for updated versions with speakers and special related events.

If you've never been to the city of Dallas you can get an overview here - http://dcvb.dmplocal.com/sites/330/welcometodallastesol2012.html.

The date for the call for proposals has passed - it's always June 1st. But the good news is that you have time to prepare your proposal for the 2014 TESOL convention. The deadline for proposals is always June 1st, so if you go to the 2013 convention, be sure to take notes and start working on your own dazzling presentation.

The 2014 TESOL convention is March 26-29, 2014 in Portland, Oregon. Portland is relatively near where I live. It's a beautiful (and very walkable) city. I just might see you there.

The 2015 TESOL conference in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, March 25-28.

Don't forget: to submit a proposal, send it to the website by June 1st, and registration begins in September for the TESOL conference in the following March.

I love these gatherings - you never know who - or what kind of opportunities - you'll run into.

I always wear a name tag. I'd love to meet you!

Keep learning!

P.S. Morf is available to visit your program or school this September. You can contact him at mmorf@mail.com.
