Most Common English Grammar Errors
We all know that the English language has many tricky areas.. From inconsistent spelling rules to slang...
...to hard to remember rules of grammar, to put it mildly, learning English can be a challenge.
Fortunately though, most grammar errors fall into just a few categories.
Here's a website which explores just a few of these most common problem areas when it comes to English grammar - https://trove.com/me/content/dg4rN?chid=77542&_p=trending&utm_source=wp&utm_medium=Widgets&utm_campaign=wpsrTrendingExternal-1-opt.
This list is largely vocabulary centered, but there are many other short lists of grammar principles all over the internet that help define problem areas.
Based on my experience, native speakers of English have essentially the same problems as learners of English, but if you can master these general principles of grammar, you should be at least as confident and competent as the best native speaker.
If you see articles, blogs or lists like this, be sure to look at the comments. You are likely to see contrary opinions, other examples, and perhaps most importantly, links to other language or grammar related sites.
But above all, send us any new words, links or phrases that baffle you and be sure to let us know what it is about English and language learning that you find confounding, infuriating or endlessly intriguing.
Listen, read and speak. Make your new language your own.
My best to you as you make your way through this intriguing , constantly shifting linguistic landscape.
